Robin Lee Collins was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Prince Georges County of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Because she had previously been convicted of a drug offense, she was sentenced under the mandatory sentencing provisions of Md.Code Ann. Art. 27, § 286(c)(1) (1957, 1987 Repl.Vol., 1991 Cum.Supp.), to a 20-year prison term. Of that term, the trial judge suspended 10 years. Collins has appealed and presents three questions for our review:
